FDA Approval Received for Comvita’s Honey Wound Dressing

A patented advanced wound care dressing  by New Zealand's leading manuka honey  producer Comvita, has received marketing clearance from the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration).

This will now allow the Active Manuka Honey dressing to be marketed and sold in the USA as well. It follows already existing approvals for this honey wound dressing in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Europe. In the United Kingdom it is sold under the Apinate name, and carries the appropriate CE mark under European regulations.

Users in the UK  and Europe  can now have even greater confidence in these honey dressings, as the FDA's approval provides further credence to the European certifications already obtained.

It further cements the global leadership of Comvita manuka honey products.
