 | Medihoney - changes to Apinate dressingsMonday, 6 July 2009 Changes have been made by Comvita to their manuka honey dressings available in the UK. Previously packaged under Comvita's own name as Apinate Dressings, they have now been re-branded under their ethical Medihoney brand, and will now be packaged as Medihoney Apinate Dressings. They have also undergone a change in pack size. Whereas before it was a 3 pack size, they are now in a larger 5 dressings sized pack - each dressing still being 10cm x 10cm. The packaging will still show that Medihoney is part of Comvita, but the main branding will be under the Medihoney label. This is part of a worldwide move to align the specialist wound care products using manuka honey. Although there will be one exception in the UK with the ManukaCare18+ tube of sterilised manuka honey for wounds keeping its name due to its existing popularity and to maintain familiarity for existing users. In recognition of these changes The New Zealand Honey Shop has created a new main category for the Medihoney range. Should you have any questions over the changes please feel free to contact us. | Latest News | | Comvita founder celebrates 100th Birthday Wednesday, 18 August 2010 Comvita co-founder is still fit as he celebrates his 100th birthday, credits bee products to his longevity.
